Hello！
I’m Reyhan Zhang, a freelance animation artist from Beijing. I am currently living in the UK, completing my MA in Animation Production in Arts University Bournemouth.
In my previous projects, I moved between roles—director, producer, writer, designer, animator… I enjoy building things from the ground up. Working across the animation pipeline has given me a grounded understanding of how stories take shape through patience and time.
Much of my work grows from small observations of everyday life and follows them wherever they lead. Whether collaborating with others or developing independent projects, I am deeply interested in how animation can transform ideas, capturing fleeting thoughts and feelings to give form to things that are often difficult to put into words.

I have participated in the organisation and operation of one of China’s leading independent animation festivals, Feinaki Beijing Animation Week. Led a team of over 20 volunteers responsible for subtitle translation, interpretation services, and international guest coordination. Managed communication between festival organisers, filmmakers, curators, and international guests.

When I work in Beijing Huotian Dayou Studio, I developed an understanding of production management in the pre-production stage of 3D animation projects. Worked with CGTeamWork production management software. Gained experience on a theatrical animated feature film production.

As an intern in Sunac Culture Group, I Gained practical experience of the pre-production pipeline for 3D animated feature films, assisted with prop design and visual development tasks, demonstrating strong efficiency, initiative, and communication skills throughout the internship.
